Platform

Why does my DXtrade account say “Demo” or “not a real trade”?

DXtrade tags every simulated account on the platform “Demo,” including TradeSport evaluation and sim-funded accounts. Your account is not a demo: live market data, rules enforced as published, real payouts. The tag only signals simulated capital rather than live funds.

Updated

If you trade on DXtrade, you will see a “Demo” tag on your account and a notice that your trades are not real. That label is a system tag DXtrade applies to every simulated account on the platform, including TradeSport evaluation and sim-funded accounts. It does not mean your account is a demo.

What is real

  • Market data — you trade live market data, powered by DXfeed.
  • Rules and targets — your profit targets, drawdown, consistency rule, and every other account rule are enforced exactly as published.
  • Payouts — the payouts you earn on a one-phase or sim-funded account are real.

What the tag means

Every TradeSport account trades simulated capital, not live funds — that is how the program works, on every platform. DXtrade makes that visible with the tag. It changes nothing about how your account is evaluated, upgraded, or paid.

No action is needed on your part. If anything else about your account looks off, email support@trade-sport.com.
