Trading is open Sunday 6:00 PM through Friday 4:00 PM ET. Trading closes one hour before the futures market’s official close (4:00 PM ET) each day for our routine maintenance.
Markets are closed on US federal holidays and any other dates observed by the CME Group. Trading resumes on the next regular session.
Simulated account size ranges from $50,000 to $150,000 depending on the challenge tier you select or the current competition’s guidelines.
Accounts are blown (stopped out) if losses exceed the max loss limit set for the account or competition. Pay attention to whether the limit is an intraday trailing drawdown or an end-of-day trailing drawdown — they behave very differently, and a misunderstanding can blow an otherwise winning account.
Competition accounts may be reset up to ten times per entry — resets are available any time through the entry-close window. Once entries close, a blown competition account is final for that monthly competition. Challenge accounts can be reset at any time the trader chooses to purchase one. Resets are priced to give you a chance to get back in the market and keep refining your edge.
You can hold up to five (5) active simulated funded accounts at any time, plus one (1) active competition account. "Active" means an account that has not been completed, failed, or closed. Competition accounts and evaluations do not count toward the five active funded account limit — passed evaluations remain pending until a funded slot opens up.
Hitting a payout milestone does NOT close your funded account, and it does NOT reset the account balance. After a payout is issued, your account balance stays exactly where it is (minus the payout amount you withdrew), and you continue trading the same account. The only things that reset are your progress counters — you have to re-qualify for each subsequent payout. Specifically:
Only specified futures symbols are permitted (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, YM, MYM, GC, MGC, SI, CL, NG). Approved instruments are the same across all account types at TradeSport.
Maximum open contracts vary by product. Competitions generally allow 10–15 minis. Challenges scale with account size — Beginner ($50K) caps at 5 minis or 50 micros, Intermediate ($100K) at 10/100, Advanced ($150K) at 15/150 — using the standard 10:1 micro-to-mini conversion. See your specific challenge tier for the exact limits.
All trades must be placed manually. Automated systems, bots, and algorithms are strictly prohibited.
Only futures trading is permitted. Options, forex, equities, and crypto are not allowed.
Buying and selling the same or similar instrument across accounts (or within one account) to hedge market exposure and guarantee that one account profits is strictly prohibited. This is banned in the live market, and it is banned here. Our goal is to prepare traders for the live market, not to let them game a simulated environment because the legal consequences don’t exist in simulation.
No more than 40% of your net profit may come from trades held under 5 seconds or smaller than 16 ticks. This is a soft rule — exceeding it doesn’t disqualify you. Instead, your profit target scales upward and stays elevated until both metrics drop below 40%: less than 40% of your net profit AND less than 40% of your total trade count from sub-5-second / sub-16-tick trades.
The following are hard violations that result in immediate account termination. Pending payouts are also forfeited unless otherwise noted:
Soft rules — exceeding a daily loss limit, falling behind on KYC, or hitting the high-frequency-trading scale — do NOT result in disqualification. Those are corrected with a lockout, a notification, or a profit-target adjustment, not a ban.
Live futures trading carries substantial financial risk. In real markets, futures contracts use leverage that can cause traders to lose more than their initial capital, and most retail futures traders lose money over time. That risk is exactly why TradeSport exists.
TradeSport does not offer live futures trading. Every account on this platform is a simulated trading account that uses real market data but never executes real trades. Your maximum financial risk on TradeSport is the cost of your entry fee or challenge account purchase — nothing more. You cannot lose more than you pay to enter, and no amount of trading on a simulated account can put you in a deficit.
This is the point of TradeSport: build, test, and prove your trading skill in a competition format with capped, predictable downside, instead of risking your savings in live markets while you’re still learning.
Performance in TradeSport competitions does not guarantee profitability in live markets. TradeSport does not provide investment advice. If you choose to trade futures with real money outside this platform, consult a qualified financial advisor.
Entry fees vary by competition and challenge type, ranging from $50 to $625. The fee grants you access to a simulated trading account with starting capital and the ability to earn performance-based payouts.
