What hours can I trade?

TradeSport accounts follow CME futures hours — nearly 24 hours a day, six days a week — but all positions are automatically flattened at 3:59:59 PM ET every day. CME holidays and weekend closures apply.

Updated

TradeSport accounts trade the CME futures calendar — the market is open nearly 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, closing over the weekend and observing CME holiday schedules.

The rule that shapes your day:

Daily flatten at 3:59:59 PM ET — one hour before the official 5:00 PM ET close of the CME session. All open positions on every TradeSport account are automatically closed at 3:59:59 PM ET each day. This is enforced natively by the platform. There is no overnight or over-weekend position holding — every day starts flat.

Other timing facts:

  • You can open positions any time the market is open; there's no restriction on trading the overnight/Globex session before the daily flatten.
  • There is no daily loss limit on any TradeSport product — only the max-loss/drawdown rules for your specific product.
  • Trade League has its own calendar on top of market hours: trading begins at 6:00 PM ET on the first trading day of the month (the CME open) and the tournament closes at 4:00 PM ET on the last Friday of the month.
  • On CME holidays and shortened sessions, the exchange calendar governs — if CME is closed, so is your platform.

If your feed looks dead, check the CME calendar before assuming a connection problem.
