Can I use third-party charting platforms like Sierra Chart or Quantower?

On a Rithmic connection, Rithmic-compatible front-ends (Quantower, Sierra Chart, Bookmap) are known to work — at your own discretion, with support limited to R|Trader Pro and ATAS. DXtrade and Volumetrica are self-contained. Any charting tool is fine for analysis.

Updated

Depends on your connection.

On a Rithmic connection: yes

Rithmic-compatible third-party front-ends are known to work, including:

  • Quantower
  • Sierra Chart
  • Bookmap

You'll connect using the Rithmic credentials emailed to you when your account is provisioned. Two caveats:

  • Support is limited to R|Trader Pro and ATAS (the free license included with every Rithmic connection). Third-party platforms are used at your own discretion — TradeSport and the platform cannot troubleshoot them.
  • Third-party platforms may have their own licensing fees — those are between you and the vendor.

On DXtrade and Volumetrica: no third-party routing

DXtrade and Volumetrica are self-contained platforms — orders go through the platform itself, and third-party front-ends do not connect.

Charting vs. order routing

You can use any charting tool you like for analysis — the restriction is only about where orders are placed.

One rule regardless of front-end: all trading must be manual. Automated trading systems, bots, and algorithmic strategies are prohibited — see "Can I use trading bots or automated strategies?"
