KYC & Verification

What documents do I need for identity verification?

A government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license, national ID, or passport), a selfie/liveness check, and — if requested — a proof of address such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, submitted securely from your dashboard (verification powered by Sumsub).

Identity verification is completed from your dashboard (verification powered by Sumsub) and typically requires:

  1. A government-issued photo ID — such as a driver's license, national ID card, or passport.
  2. A selfie / liveness check — a quick camera step that confirms you're the person on the ID.
  3. A proof of address, if requested — a recent utility bill, bank statement, or similar. Have one handy in case it's requested.

Tips for passing on the first try:

  • Use a current, unexpired document.
  • Take photos in good lighting with all four corners of the ID visible and no glare.
  • Make sure the name and details on your ID match your TradeSport profile.
  • Do the selfie step yourself, live — photos of photos won't pass.

Submitting false or altered documents is treated as fraudulent registration and is grounds for a permanent ban.

If your documents are repeatedly rejected, see "My KYC was rejected — what do I do?" or email support@trade-sport.com.
