Connection Guides

How do I connect to Rithmic (R | Trader Pro)?

Download R | Trader Pro from the Downloads tab in your dashboard, sign in with the Rithmic credentials from your provisioning email, and complete the CME market data attestation inside R | Trader Pro (Windows only). Third-party platforms such as Quantower, Sierra Chart, or Bookmap connect through Rithmic's own connection guides.

A Rithmic connection gives you R | Trader Pro, Rithmic's own desktop platform, plus a free ATAS license, and lets you trade from Rithmic-compatible third-party platforms.

1. Install R | Trader Pro

Open the Downloads tab in your trader dashboard and download R | Trader Pro. It runs on Windows (Rithmic lists 64-bit Windows 10 and 11); there is no macOS desktop version. Rithmic's product page: R | Trader Pro.

2. Sign in and complete the market data attestation

Sign in with the Rithmic User ID and password from your provisioning email, choosing the system name your credentials were issued for. On your first login, complete the CME market data attestation inside R | Trader Pro: it must be done there, not on a web or mobile app. Select Non-Professional. Once the attestation is signed, Rithmic's web and mobile apps work with the same credentials.

3. Third-party platforms (optional)

Quantower, Sierra Chart, Bookmap, ATAS, and other Rithmic-compatible front-ends connect with the same Rithmic credentials. Rithmic publishes a step-by-step guide for each: Rithmic Connection Guides. Two things from that page worth knowing: two applications on the same Rithmic login at the same time disconnect each other, so to run a second platform alongside R | Trader Pro, launch R | Trader Pro, click Allow Plugins before you log in, connect the other platform through the Rithmic plugin, and keep R | Trader Pro running. Third-party platforms are your own choice and license; TradeSport supports R | Trader Pro and ATAS.
