Affiliate Program
No commission is paid on refunded or charged-back sales (already-paid commissions are deducted from your future commission balance), on a referred user's new-account purchases made more than 90 days after their original signup, on purchases by existing users who didn't enter your code, or on self-referrals and fraudulent referrals, which can forfeit pending commissions entirely.
Updated
Most qualifying sales by your referred users pay a flat commission — but these cases pay nothing:
Refunds and chargebacks
If a referred user obtains a refund (where one is granted) or files a chargeback, the related commission is reversed. If it was already paid out to you, the reversal is deducted from your next commission balance. This is also why payouts have a built-in eligibility buffer — see "When and how do affiliates get paid?"
New accounts bought more than 90 days after signup
You earn on your referred user's additional accounts only when they're purchased within 90 days of the original signup. After that, new-account purchases don't pay commission. The original account is the exception — it carries lifetime attribution, so its resets keep paying you for the life of that account.
Existing users who don't use your code
You earn on an already-existing user's purchase only when they enter your promo code at checkout, and then only on that specific purchase — no resets or future purchases.
Cookie/code conflicts resolved to another affiliate
If your referred user enters a different affiliate's promo code at checkout, that affiliate is credited for that transaction. You retain lifetime attribution on the original account if applicable.
Self-referrals and fraud
Referring yourself, household members, close associates, fake accounts, or colluding to generate commissions is prohibited and pays nothing — and can end your affiliate participation with forfeiture of pending commissions. See "Why can't I use my own affiliate code?"
Termination for cause
If your participation is terminated for cause (fraud, material agreement violations, misleading marketing, brand harm), pending commissions may be forfeited in whole or in part depending on severity.
Full terms are in the Affiliate Agreement at /affiliate-agreement.

- Do affiliate codes stack with site sales?Standard affiliate codes do not stack with public promo codes — they mirror the active promotion and entering both does not double the discount. Premium Discount Codes are different: granted through a separate application (open to any active affiliate, no minimum signups), they add an additional percentage on top of the active promotion.
- Do affiliates get a 1099? How are affiliate taxes handled? You are responsible for all taxes on your affiliate income. Tax forms such as the 1099-NEC are issued where required by U.S. law, which is why accurate tax information is required at enrollment and KYC must be completed before your first payout. Consult a tax professional about how affiliate income applies to your situation.
- Does my affiliate code give my friend a discount? The standard affiliate code does not add any extra discount. It mirrors whatever promotion is currently active, so the final price is the same whether your friend uses your code or the public promo code. What your code does is attribute the purchase to you. Premium Discount Codes, granted separately, are the exception.

- How much do affiliates earn per sale?Affiliate commissions are flat dollar amounts per sale, not a percentage of the price. One-Phase Challenges pay $10/$17/$25 by tier, Two-Phase Challenges pay $5/$10/$20, and Trade League pays $5 per entry and $2 per reset. Resets on a referred user's original account pay the same flat commission for the life of that account.
