Discounts, promo codes, and affiliate codes explained

Challenges frequently run promotional discounts — enter the current promo code at checkout to apply one; the discounted price shows before you pay. A standard affiliate code mirrors the current promotion — it credits the affiliate but adds no extra discount and doesn't stack. Premium Discount Codes add an extra percentage on top. Trade League prices are essentially never discounted.

Updated

There are three kinds of discounts to know about:

1. Current promotions

One-Phase and Two-Phase challenges frequently run promotional discounts. Promotions are applied with a promo code: enter the current code — shown on the site when a promotion is running — in the discount-code field at checkout, and the discounted price shows before you pay. Trade League pricing ($75 entry / $50 reset / $195 bundle) is essentially never discounted — those are the real prices.

2. Standard affiliate codes

Every approved affiliate has a standard code. Entering one credits the affiliate for referring you, and it mirrors whatever promotion is currently active (if a 30% promotion is running, the code applies 30% off; if no promotion is running, it applies nothing) — so the price is the same as using the public promo code. Its purpose is attribution.

3. Premium Discount Codes

Some affiliates are granted a separate, application-based Premium Discount Code. Unlike a standard code, this one adds an additional percentage on top of the active promotion (additive — e.g., a 20% promotion plus a 10% premium code means 30% off list). If you have one of these codes from a creator you follow, it's the only code type that beats the public price.

Ground rules

  • One code per checkout: standard affiliate codes don't stack with the public promo code — entering both never doubles the discount. A Premium Discount Code is the only code type that adds on top of the active promotion.
  • Discounts apply to challenge purchases; the final price is always shown before you pay.
  • A code with no active benefit simply applies no discount.
