A futures contract is a standardized, exchange-traded agreement to buy or sell something — a stock index, gold, crude oil — at a set price on a future date. Traders use them to speculate on price moves in either direction, long or short. On TradeSport, all of this happens in a simulated environment with real-time market data, so you get realistic futures trading without real capital at risk.
What you can trade — the supported product list spans the CME Group exchanges (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX):
- Equity index futures — the major indices and their micros (ES/MES for the S&P 500, NQ/MNQ for the Nasdaq-100, YM/MYM for the Dow, and more)
- FX futures — major currency futures
- Metals — gold (GC/MGC), silver (SI/SIL), platinum (PL), copper (HG)
- Energies — crude oil (CL), natural gas (NG), heating oil (HO), RBOB gasoline (RB)
- Agriculturals — the CBOT grain complex
- Crypto futures — micro Bitcoin (MBT) and micro Ether (MET)
The "M" symbols are micro contracts — one-tenth the size of the full contract, ideal for smaller position sizing.
Not available: options, stocks, spot forex, or spot cryptocurrency.
Commissions run $0.46–$2.90 per side depending on the product, deducted from your simulated balance at fill time. Futures trade nearly 24/6 on the CME calendar, and all TradeSport positions auto-flatten at 3:59:59 PM ET daily. The complete product and commission schedule is on the How It Works page.
