Trade League

Trade League account size and trading rules

Every Trade League participant trades an identical $50,000 simulated futures account — there are no tiers. Position size is capped at 9 contracts flat. Trading uses the same futures product list and commission schedule as challenges, with a daily position flatten at 3:59:59 PM ET and no daily loss limit.

Updated

Trade League is a level playing field: everyone gets the same account.

Account

  • Starting balance: $50,000 (simulated) — identical for every participant. There are no tiers and no way to buy a bigger account.
  • Ranked by final account balance at tournament close.

Position limits

  • Maximum 9 contracts across all positions — a flat cap.

What you can trade

The same futures product list as our challenges, across CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX: equity index futures and their micros, FX futures, metals, energies, agriculturals, and micro Bitcoin/Ether futures. Options are not available. The full product and commission schedule is published on the How It Works page.

Commissions

Commissions run $0.46–$2.90 per side by product (for example, NQ/ES at $2.18 per side and MNQ/MES at $0.71 per side), deducted from your account balance at fill time — they count against your ranked balance.

Session rules

  • Daily flatten: all positions are automatically closed at 3:59:59 PM ET each day.
  • No daily loss limit — the only loss rules are the max loss and drawdown described in "Trade League max loss and drawdown rules".
  • Trading follows CME futures hours.

Platform

The Trade League, launching January 2027, will run exclusively on DXtrade — browser-based, powered by DXfeed market data, nothing to download. You'll receive your platform credentials by email once your account is provisioned after purchase.
