Challenges
Every challenge has an intraday-trailing max loss until your first payout (or first milestone), after which the drawdown floor permanently locks at your starting balance + $100. One-Phase limits: $1,500/$2,500/$3,500. Two-Phase limits: $2,000/$3,000/$4,500. No daily loss limits on any product.
Updated
Exceeding the max loss is the only trading-performance rule that ends a challenge account. (Accounts can also be closed by disqualification for violations of the governing terms — see Prop Account, LLC's Client Terms and Policies.) Here's how the max loss works.
Max loss limits
| Tier | One-Phase | Two-Phase |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner ($50K) | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| Intermediate ($100K) | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| Advanced ($150K) | $3,500 | $4,500 |
How the drawdown trails and locks
The drawdown is not static. It works in two stages:
- Before your first payout (One-Phase) or through the eval and until your first milestone payout (Two-Phase), the max loss is intraday trailing — the drawdown floor rises as your account balance hits new highs during the day.
- After your first payout / first milestone, the drawdown floor permanently locks at your starting balance + $100: $50,100 / $100,100 / $150,100 by tier. It never trails again for the life of the account.
No daily loss limit
TradeSport has no daily loss limits on any product. The only loss rules are the trailing max loss (before the lock) and the fixed locked floor (after it).
Other risk mechanics
- All positions are automatically flattened at 3:59:59 PM ET every day.
- If your balance breaches the drawdown floor, the account is permanently closed. You can buy a reset (same price as entry, unlimited) to start a fresh account — see "What happens if I fail?"

- Are challenges real money or simulated?Challenge accounts use simulated (virtual) funds against real-time market data — none of your capital is at risk beyond the fees you pay. The payouts, however, are real cash: you keep 90% of every payout, issued by Prop Account, LLC and disbursed via Rise, typically within 24–48 hours of request.
- Can I run multiple challenges at once?Yes — you can hold up to $1,000,000 in combined active simulated accounts at a time, in any mix of formats and tiers (roughly 20 × $50K accounts). Purchases above the limit wait on hold and activate when a slot opens. One user profile per person.
- Challenge payout amountsEvery challenge account pays out exactly 5 times, then closes. One-Phase pays $1,500–$3,000 per payout by tier with lifetime caps of $9,000–$19,000. Two-Phase milestones range from $500 to a $9,000 final cap with lifetime caps of $6,500–$20,500. You keep 90% of every payout.
- Challenge resets: how they workChallenge resets are unlimited and cost the same as your tier's entry fee. Each reset is a brand-new account with a new account ID — the old account stays closed. Two-Phase resets always start back in the evaluation phase.
- Challenge vs. Trade League: what's the difference?Challenges are individual funded-account products with no timer and published payout amounts — payouts 1–4 are fixed dollar amounts and the 5th pays up to a published cap. Trade League is a monthly ranked tournament where everyone trades an identical $50,000 account and the top 10% of paid entries share a revenue-share pool.
