Trading Rules

Can I use trading bots or automated strategies?

No. All trading must be manual — automated trading systems, bots, and algorithmic strategies are prohibited on every TradeSport account, with no approval path. Discretionary use of standard platform tools — alerts, bracket orders, and similar — is allowed.

All trading must be manual. Automated trading systems, bots, and algorithmic strategies are prohibited on every TradeSport account — there is no approval path.

What's allowed

Discretionary use of standard platform tools is fine, including:

  • Price alerts
  • Bracket orders (attached stop/target)
  • Standard order types and platform features you trigger manually

The line is decision-making: tools that help you execute decisions you make in real time are fine; systems that make entry or exit decisions for you are prohibited.

What happens if you automate

Automated trading is a violation of the governing terms. Violations can lead to disqualification, which means forfeiting payouts earned on the account plus the entry and reset fees paid for it — see "What counts as a rule break?"

Related: copy trading across accounts belonging to different people is separately prohibited — see "Is copy trading allowed?"
